We’re big advocates of reading; we even have an “Essential library” containing what we consider to be exceptional titles in our areas of interest. We’re always encouraging one another to dip into a book we’ve recently enjoyed, with Perfect Pitch and Predictably Irrational recently doing the circuit. The most recent addition – the 10th anniversary edition of the Cluetrain Manifesto – will undoubtedly be doing the same.
I can see our library expanding soon thanks to the Scribd presentation below. “My Favourite Business Book” was a website designed to promote the launch of “The 100 best business books of all time“. The authors invited the public to offer their opinions and reviews, and 26 have been collected below.
It is well worth a read (and a bookmarking, for that matter).
My Favorite Business Book
My vote would have to go to The Art of Innovation (my review is here). Not only was it the first book I read with the explicit notion of it being relevant to my job, but it is also the title whose lessons have stuck with me the closest. Whether you a researcher, a designer, a creative or an administrator, there are many valuable tips for success within the workplace.
